Larkin Street Academy's Art Program is excited to announce that Performing Arts Night (PAN) programming is about to begin! Auditions are just around the corner for this exciting (and paid) opportunity!
Performing Arts Night (PAN) is an opportunity for young artists to showcase their talents with music, dance, writing, comedy, theater, fashion, or anything else!
This year will be a special PAN celebrating our 40th anniversary and will take place in A.C.T.'s The Strand's Rembe theater on Friday, August 16!
Auditions for PAN will take place in the Art Studio [Art House @ 134] Larkin Street Academy
When: May 13, 14, 16, 17 - 10am to 12pm
Youth can reserve an audition slot by emailingArtProgram@larkinstreetyouth.org

Signing up on the schedules posted on the Art House @ 134 (studio) door in Larkin Street Academy!
What will the audition include?
Youth will share a performance piece (5 min or less)
OR
*Have an idea for what they would like to create and bring some example of their performance or artistic work.
Staff will review all program details with youth, as part of the audition process, to be sure the program will fit their schedule, and is a good fit.
NOTE:
Participating artists are paid for workshops, and mentoring time with guest artists and Art Program staff.
Rehearsals and performances during production week are also paid.
